The Canvas course site will open to registered students on Saturday, July 4, 2020.
Registered students will receive an email on Friday, July 3, 2020 with instructions on how to access the Canvas learning platform when it opens, and how to access the first ZOOM live session on Monday, July 6th, 2020. This information will also be posted on the STEM+ by CLS website.
Students are encouraged to visit the course site in Canvas before the first meeting for a sneak peak of the contents and assignments.
What do students need to participate?
Required to access course materials, complete assignments, and participate in ZOOM live sessions.
Students must have an active Google or Google-based account to participate in course activities. Students will be using Google’s Colab and sharing Googlesheets as part of the course assignments.

If you prefer, you can use an existing email address to create a Google account
Accessing the Course in Canvas
This first time you accesses Canvas, you will be asked to create a password for your Canvas student account. After this, you can get to the Canvas course site:
Attending Online Live Session in Zoom
Reza Tasooji will hold the first live online class meeting in ZOOM at 11:00 am ET on the Monday after the 4th of July weekend.
Before the Course Begins:
Email firstname.lastname@example.org. One of the Commonwealth Learning Systems staff will get back to you as soon as possible.
During the live ZOOM session:
If you are logged into the ZOOM session and have access to the CHAT feature, send a message to Farida Mohamed.
If you cannot login to the ZOOM session and need immediate help, send a TEXT to
